Gambling Hardships
Seeing it play on the movies, gambling looks, to lack of a better word, glamorous. There’s the cool guy betting on sports or playing cards and he has the natural instinct to, despite losing it all at first, come through and really save the day and get the girl and what not. But the worst part of it is how easily it comes to them. They spend the whole day doing nothing but walk around and have fun or something like that and, at the end of the day, they know who’s going to win the World Series because they’re just that awesome.
But in real life, if you want to consistently win big, you need to put in the effort and go through hours of gruesome grunt work a week. For example, to successfully gamble on football is a lot more than just figuring out who’s going to go all the way and win the Superbowl. You need to analyze statistics, look at plays and watch games and, let’s not forget, you need to have a certain something special to allow you to turn all of that into money-making decisions.
For the rest of us, it’s really just work, although sometimes you get a little help. The Internet has a lot of so-called betting experts, but if you look deep enough and long enough you’ll eventually find some that have a good winning record and that can actually support their views coherently.
